The United Religions Initiative - Middle East & North Africa (URI MENA) aims at promoting enduring and daily interfaith cooperation to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the earth and all living beings.

URI MENA cultivates peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences. It implements its mission through its office in Jordan and its affiliate groups across MENA . URI MENA is engaged in community action such as:
- Humanitarian aid
- Conflict resolution and reconciliation
- Environmental sustainability
- Education
- Women’s empowerment
- Youth leadership programs
- Advocacy for human rights.
URI enjoys the consultative status with the United Nations Economic & Social Council and has partnerships with several other UN agencies.
