The Free Union in Education Bacău County (S.L.I. Bacău)

The Free Union in Education Bacău County (S.L.I. Bacău) is an autonomous institution and its leading office, Bacău headquarters, has 6 staff members: the chairman, area leaders, legal adviser and accountant. We have direct representation in the relationship with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Labor, the Government of Romania, the Presidency of Romania, the Parliament of Romania.
We are a very large team of academics, 7000 teachers from all the urban and rural schools coordinated by the School County Inspectorate of Bacau: 2,460 in Bacău municipality, and the rest of 4540 in villages and small town of county.
The Free Union is a potential European partner that can team up a variety of teachers and specialists from a diversity of schools.
All the members are teachers, educators activating in the education system of Bacău county. Our strategy, however, also focuses on the interests of students and parents, our partners.
What we offer our members:

- protection of rights, freedom and lawful professional, social, economic interests;
- social aids, legal consultancy and representation in trials;
- representation in the relationship with the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Labor, the Government of Romania, the Presidency of Romania, the Parliament of Romania;
- the possibility to participate in exchanges of experience with trade union organizations from other countries;
- advice for the preparation of personal files necessary at different stages of the teaching career;
- support in order to solve some problems related to the violation of some rights.
We want to be part of partnership and cooperation, exchange expertise and good practices, share knowledge, acquire information and knowledge as well.
