the forgotton twice

vision: Referral pathway. our vision is not even close to create a free from SGBV for LGBT refugee’s community or even promoting awareness of their own rights and be capable to protect them, because the latter is not even possible in such a community like Egypt. However, our vision is more implemented in secretly promoting legal, psychological and health awareness among the LGBTQ refugee community in Egypt.
Mission: - To end the violence that the conservative community of Egypt that causes to LGBTQ as well as the neglect of those who work within the international organizations towards the LGBTQ. Since the LGBTQ refugee community are facing violence, as they do not have any legal entity to defend their rights or to protect them from violence and also to promote them with legal, medical and psychological support.
Beliefs
1. Many LGBTI refugees in Egypt are more vulnerable to poverty and face isolation, since they have different sexual orientation and/or gender identity or from others.
2. LGBTI refugee community confined in poverty can break the poverty cycle if they are heard.
3. Tackling poverty is much related to changing social statues towards LGBTI refugee community in Egypt and giving them rights
** According the Egyptian law, in order for people to get a legal work permit, they actually have to provide an HIV-negative and a hepatitis C negative statement. As some people might have a positive result, they might be losing their jobs.

Our Methodology
• We focus on LGBTI refugee community in Egypt,

principles
• We provide hope and extra resources, but not charity;
• We do not encourage or encourage people to help themselves;
• We communicate, consult and examine with local communities, constantly;
• We comprehend the fact that social change and social inclusion takes a lot of time and resources, so we are very welcoming to that fact ;
• We increase and make full use of existing resources whenever possible;
• We believe that competence and skills, efficiency, financial health and shifting the world can be dependent on each other
