The Boris Trajkovski International Foundation

The Boris Trajkovski International Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and spreading the vision and values of the late President of the Republic of Macedonia, Boris Trajkovski. The mission of the Foundation is to continue the legacy (unfinished work) of President Trajkovski by promoting peace and reconciliation, education, market economy, civil society and good governance, as well as cultural, sports, health, welfare and environmental activities.

The aims and objectives of the Foundation are:
1. To promote reconciliation and mutual respect and understanding;
2. To promote the highest quality of education for children and young people in Macedonia to be well-trained and ready to lead the country in the future.
3. To help the entire population of Macedonia, but mostly the vulnerable groups by promoting the market economy and providing a decent living and prosperity for all
4. To promote increased civil society and good governance through increased openness, transparency, honesty, sincerity and the support of the NGO sector.

In each of these four areas, the Foundation will seek to implement the following objectives:
• Promoting ethnic, religious, and cultural respect and understanding between nations, people and groups.
• Promoting individual rights and responsibilities.
• Promoting regional and international cooperation through open communication and exchange of ideas.
• Promotion of the use of technology to improve the living conditions, education, health, economy and governance.
