Synergy Flow

Synergy Flow is an organization founded in 2014, in the town of Castella, Evia in Greece.
The organization is an initiative of young people with diverse educational background and a lifelong experience in non-formal education in local, national and international level.

The vision of the group is to promote sustainability and synergy in society while increasing the active participation of young people in their local and international communities and in the field of non-formal education.

Synergy Flow operates as an open and accessible platform for young people interested in the opportunities of the non-formal education with a mission to increase the mobilities inside the European Union.

Our aim is to empower and support young people in their learning, personal and professional development.
In order to achieve this, we focus on the topics of: youth unemployment, intercultural-dialogue, coaching, personal development, integration, social inclusion and equality, gender and LGBTQIA+ issues, media and outdoor activities.

We work with young people beyond discrimination at any criteria. We do not claim copyright issues on our work related to education, we believe that education should be free and accessible to everyone.

Main activities:
- creation and implementation of non-formal and informal educational projects (youth exchanges, trainings, workshops, seminars and others)
- support of young people in their own personal and professional development
- promotion of participation of international mobilities
- creation and support of activities in the local, national and international level
- counseling and coaching

We focus on the method of learning by involvement, using initiative as a highly effective and accessible way for learning, in which the individual is the center of the learning process.
We use approaches and methods from different educational fields that we find inspiring such us: Media, outdoor, theater, embodied training, systemic work, self-organized learning systems, concepts from NLP and others, non-violent communication, coaching and personal development tools.

History:
The founding members of Synergy Flow have extended experience in highly effective and innovative educational methods that they had the chance to get familiar while traveling and living abroad. Therefore, they created the organization in order to familiarize residents of Greece with these methods.
The International Synergy Network founded in 1991 in The Netherlands with more than 25 countries involved, is embracing Synergy Flow as part of it. The vision of the Synergy Network is to create the world that works for everybody out of love, care, and cooperation.
