SWEDO

SWEDO operates both in Sweden and internationally, with a strong presence in the Middle East and North Africa, including countries such as Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. The organization works with refugees, internally displaced people, youth, women, and vulnerable communities, aiming to strengthen local resilience and improve living conditions.

Its core areas of work include education, youth empowerment, gender equality, livelihoods, protection, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), alongside community-based development and humanitarian response. SWEDO implements projects in partnership with international actors such as UN agencies and local civil society organizations.

The organization has solid experience in international cooperation, capacity building, and non-formal learning, including workshops, training, youth exchanges, and intercultural dialogue initiatives.
