Stoneybatter Community Training Centre

Stoneybatter Community Training Centre is an independent, community-based organization which provides training and related supports for early school leavers primarily aged between 16 – 21 years who have left school with no formal or incomplete qualifications. Our learners develop individualised learning plans and participate in personal, social and vocational skills training and development leading to major awards on the National Framework of Qualifications. We specialize in four key areas which include: Office and Computer Skills, Retail Skills, Catering Support and General Learning with an emphasis on improving literacy skills. Social and personal development are also key aspects in our work. We are always interested in learning about new and innovative ways to help learners develop personally and socially to help them become considerate, active citizens. One of our key themes is youth health promotion.
