STILL LIFE Informal Group

Still Life is an informal group based in Thessaloniki, Greece, which aim is to act both in local and European level. It consists of a core of people, joined by many experiences in European educational programs and a common vision: to become responsible citizens for a better society.
The working methods used by Still Life, are related to technology, art and performance, as effective tools to address many social issues such as discrimination, tolerance and social exclusion. Moreover, the European dimension of the "World Body" equips its members with working methodologies based on informal and experiential learning, always on intercultural basis.
Locally, the "World House" supports projects with social, environmental and artistic values both at urban and rural areas.
The core team of Still Life informal group gained a valuable experience in European educational programs and in local voluntary programs with groups and associations. They developed projects aiming at a fair use of media and technology for a better involvement of youngsters in the society, such as focus groups, media laboratories, video productions and online campaigns.
They also developed projects aiming to promote the value of intercultural communication through art, to address social issues such as discrimination, tolerance, social exclusion (as described in our objectives and activities) and environmental issues.
They have experience in working with people and with youngsters with fewer oppurtunities through their previous engagements in voluntary works.

REDUCE - RESUSE - RECYCLE

Reduce-Reuse-Recycle is a 10 day youth exchange focusing on the theme of creative recycling and how this can be used to develop working skills for youngsters.
