Stichting Bildung Platform Nijmegen

Bildung Nijmegen is a non-formal education and youth work organisation based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. We work mainly with young people aged 16–30 and focus on inclusion, personal development, citizenship, intercultural learning, youth participation and international mobility.

We create safe spaces where young people can meet, reflect, express themselves, learn from each other and take an active role in society. Our work includes youth participation, arts and culture, heritage, critical thinking, dialogue, inclusion and community building.

We work with young people from different educational and social backgrounds, including students, newcomers, young people with fewer opportunities and young people outside formal education.

We organise local and international youth projects, creative workshops, dialogue activities, heritage projects, participation activities and Erasmus+ activities.

Bildung Nijmegen received the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label in 2025 as a lead and support organisation. Our focus is on preparing, sending and supporting young volunteers before, during and after their volunteering experience. We aim to send and support around 10 to 15 young volunteers abroad each year.
