STD"BACHO KIRO"

STD "Bacho Kiro" is a non-profit association, registered in 2018 in the town of Dryanovo, Gabrovo region, Bulgaria, which inherits 100-years old tourist organization "Bacho Kiro". The association provides training of children's and youth in eco-club of tourism, in orienteering sports club "Bacho Kiro-94" /SKO Bacho Kiro/, in cave club "Strinava" /PK Strinava/, there are an adult tourism club, a motorcycle club "Bacho Kiro Riders'', a club of Veteran Tourists and a Cycling club. The work with children and youth is an important emphasis, as generations of Dryanovo residents have grown up in STD clubs and continue to engage in sports and tourist activities as adults. Currently, three of the clubs actively work with children and youth.
We attract talented and young people to participate in the clubs, in which they develop not only as athletes, but also to improve their communication skills, to be tolerant and supportive, to be participants in the social life of the association and at the same time to be active citizens.
Strategy of STD for youth:
Creation of a new layer of young people, ready to work for the welfare of the people of their community and to cooperate in the spirit of tolerance and partnership with other.
Object of the organization for youth:
To frame favorable conditions for the development of a creative, energetic young person having active eco position.
Aims of the organization for youth:
- To develop the potential of the youth
- To support youth initiatives in various fields
- To create conditions for active involvement of young people both into social and sport life of the society
- To develop respect for public, liberal and democratic values.
