Sports school PESG

PESG Sports School is an adult education institution that has been implementing various formal and non-formal programs in the field of adult education since 2001, and we also implement vocational programs for training and training. In addition, we are no strangers to research in the field of education, and so far we have developed 5 occupational and qualification standards in accordance with national guidelines. In our portfolio, we have created more than 120 programs from sectors such as economy, sports, health, and sustainable development.

At the national level, PESG contributes to raising the quality of life by building the individual skills needed for easier access to the labour market and easier inclusion. PESG implements programs for the acquisition of secondary education for children focused on sports and the development of professional sports careers, and currently, in education, we have 180 young athletes aged 14 to 18 divided into a general gymnasium and economics programs. In teaching, we implement the most modern forms of technology such as gamification and a hybrid form of teaching.

Our rich experience in the development of educational programs gives us a good foundation for the future development of new projects, as well as various other programs, such as digital and green sustainable development and environmental protection. With many years of experience in developing curricula according to the relevant methodology for adult education, we have extensive experience and knowledge in preparing and implementing projects financed by EU funds.

We are focused on projects from the European Social Fund, which is the main Financial Instrument of the EU for achieving strategic employment policy objectives, and the Erasmus+ EU programme that supports education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. At the national level, we cooperate with development agencies, organizations, and institutes engaged in research and improvement of the labour market, and we are partners in numerous European projects outside the borders of Croatia (Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Finland, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Serbia, UK).

All of the above is carried out by professional staff who have graduate and postgraduate levels of education in the field of preparation and implementation of EU projects, marketing of special areas, law, economics, geography, English, psychology, and sociology ... Our principal, Sanda Gale, is a member of the commission for the dual career of the Croatian Olympic Committee, vice-president of the Croatian Association of Employers in the field of adult education and is a member of the advisory board for vocational education and training.
