By the organising of events and by participating in different activities there are invited the volunteers, int.al. from abroad.
We have been participating in different projects, for the most part by cooperating with other organisations. The social organisation Dzelverte has cooperated in several activities with Barkava Professional Secondary school (organizing of events, summer camps, workshops, environment ‘actions, consultations, local sport and cultural activities), in projects (program Youth in action – 1st t and 2nd actions, LLP Leonardo da Vinci mobility (PLM), KKF, ESF projects for unemployment people coordinating by NVA, Madona area’s municipality, centre of adult education etc.), because in the ground of our earmarked audience are children and youth. We are organising also foreign languages courses, IT courses, applied art and crafts courses, as well as other informal activities for school youth, children and local population.
In the beginning of this organisation we engaged with the questions of material and social help for local people, by delivering them the packages from Red Cross and other charity organisations from abroad (Denmark, Germany), as well as – we made by ourselves the collection and distribution of necessary goods (clothes, food) for the people, who needed it.
On the ground of continued cooperating with Student Board of Barkava Professional school (as many of our fellows in everyday work are related to the school and youth) and Barkava, Murmastine un Degumnieki primary schools, also kindergartens and care home, now –we will use the possibility to be equal partners. We have cooperation agreement with Barkava PSS school about common participating in the organizing of youth out-of-school activities and events on the basis of exchange projects, also volunteer work and with financing support for EVS Project. Our local partners’ coalition is open for every young person, who is creative, helpful, active, ready for adventures and challenges and who wants to make our Madona district more knowledgeable, skilled, joyful, helpful, or just a great place to live, grow and be happy.

We are looking now for new organisations and groups from other countries which would like organize an exchange project (7/8 days)on August 2013 in Madona district(Latvia) related to the themes of environment protection, applied art, culture heritage and youth sport and development, included people with less opportunities.
