Sivas Provincial Directrote of National Education

Our aim main of the project is bringing youngs from different cultures together to discuss their problems ,find common ones ,produce a creative solutions,write down problems-solutions, make stories of their solutions, film theirs stories and act in films.Our project will take place firstly in Sivas for 10 days.We will have 6 participants from each country. The participants will be 16-30 years old youngs to exchange ideas about cultural diversity and problems they have to strugle with. We will also have youngs from rural areas because traditions and cultures are lived deeply in rural areas.
During the project they
-learn more about other cultures,
-break their prejudices towards other cultures,
-develop cultural and environment participation,
-strengthen the awareness of being European citizens by integrating cultures,-
-learn national songs and dances of each other,
-have intercultural nights to raise sympaty towards each other,
-learn about Turkish culture,visit historical places in Sivas,
-promote awaresness towards traditions of different cultures and problems of youngs about these traditions( early marriage, non- education girls, the ideas that can't be changed etc.),
-mention youngs' relationships with family of each culture,
-have chance to express problems freely in a different atmosphere,
-evaluate other youngs' ideas,
-have group work acitivities and chance to act like other cultures' lifestyles.
-film their own plays.
At the end of project they will have new point of view towards not only their problems but also other friends problems from Europe. As a first step of being a Europan citizens they will know more about different sides of Europe, integrate their cultures with others and have a film they work every step of production.
