Silk Road International Child and Youth Works Center

Silk Road Children and Youth Foundation, established in Turkey Presidency of the Republic has been operating in the Protectorate Silk Road International Children and Youth Work Center.
The aims of our foundation;

East-covered West cohesion policy based on the cooperation of the thematic centers covering the fields of social sciences and humanities with science centers to Turkey's seven living in children and young people with commitment to international guests our countries, our common values ​​of living in our country for various reasons and increasing the unity and solidarity among their peers in different geographies programs To create a thematic history and learning by experience center based on narrative and descriptive history telling, non-formal and applied education approach. It is among our goals to contribute to increase the capacity of non-formal education areas needed in national and international projects and to lay the groundwork for the dissemination of living learning culture in our country.

The target audience of our center:
- Children between the ages of 06-13
- Youth between the ages of 13-30
- Refugees and Asylum Seekers
- Child and Youth Based Working NGOs
- University Student Clubs
- Science Centers

The European Solidarity Corps Program is very important in order to achieve the goal of "contributing to increasing the capacity of non-formal education areas needed in national and international projects and making the culture of learning by living widespread in our country."

Volunteering projects will be a learning experience that will accelerate the personal and professional development of young people. The nature of volunteering projects exactly matches the approach of our foundation, which is based on the culture of learning by living.

The language and intercultural skills of young people will be improved in the projects. They will have the chance to learn how to live on their own as individuals, to overcome difficulties and to work in a team.

These are the needs of young people in the target audience of the Silk Road International Center for Child and Youth Studies in Elazig. We will meet these needs with the European Solidarity Corps.

Thanks to the experiences they will gain with the projects, a culture of solidarity will be created in young people.
