SAE functions are specific to the exercise of its powers in respect of employment and professional qualifications and, in particular the following: job creation, job training, guidance and information, exploration, registration applications for employment and brokerage in the labor market and to this end, the agency exercises the following functions:

Preparation of pre-employment plans.

Planning, management, promotion and evaluation of various programs and measures for employment, competence of the Autonomous Region, on employment promotion, training for employment, labor market survey and dissemination of information labor market, job placement, counseling and career information and support actions to improve the professional qualifications and employment. Just as on the promotion of enterprise culture, promoting employment schemes stimulate the quantity and quality of employment, promotion and development of local employment.

The resolution calls for aid and subsidies and the signing of collaboration agreements relating to the jurisdiction managed by the Andalusian Employment Service.

Technical assistance to the various organs of the Andalusian and other public authorities, when required to do so, in employment and vocational training for employment.

Any other functions entrusted to it by any rule or agreement of the Governing Council of the Andalusian or those that, in future, could be transferred to the Andalusian policy of employment.

Among the services provided by the SAE that is to emphasize the orientation and insertion, whose main objectives are:

Advice and information about career choice, training schedules, real job opportunities, job search techniques and the creation of self employment.

Facilitate the proper integration of persons in the service of intermediation and access to other employment programs.

The SAE operates around the provision of certain services not only to enterprises, social partners and public and private entities, but also to the public.
The Orientation and Integration area pays special attention to those with greater difficulty accessing a job (people at risk of exclusion, young people seeking their first job, women returning to the labor market, long-term unemployed people and people disabilities).
