Sataute Buenas Vistas

Asociación Vecinal Buenas Vistas is a non-profit neighbourhood association based in Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria, Spain), committed to strengthening community life through participation, education and social innovation. We promote initiatives that encourage active citizenship, intergenerational dialogue, social inclusion and sustainable local development.

Our organisation works closely with local authorities, educational centres, community groups and other civil society organisations to create opportunities for young people to become active members of their communities. We believe that public spaces are essential environments for learning, participation and democratic engagement.

Our activities include non-formal education, cultural and environmental initiatives, volunteering, community events, digital inclusion, youth participation and international cooperation. We also promote European values by encouraging young people to take part in programmes such as Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and DiscoverEU.

Through our projects, we aim to empower young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, by developing their personal, social and civic competences while strengthening their sense of belonging to both their local community and Europe. Our organisation sees international cooperation as a powerful tool for exchanging good practices, fostering intercultural dialogue and building more inclusive, resilient and participatory communities.
