Saos Youth

Saos Youth is a grassroots youth initiative based on the island of Samothrace, a unique and remote place in the Northern Aegean. Our group was created by and for young people who wish to stay connected with their community while building bridges with Europe and beyond.

Our mission is to empower the local youth, promote sustainable development, and create opportunities for learning, creativity, and collaboration. We believe that even in small and remote communities, young people can have a strong voice and make a positive impact.

Main Activities

• Organizing educational and cultural activities for young people (workshops, cultural events, creative labs).
• Raising awareness on environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices in everyday life.
• Supporting youth participation and empowerment through dialogue, volunteering, and civic engagement.
• Participating in and organizing Erasmus+ projects, exchanges, and trainings, offering young people the chance to gain new skills and experiences.

We are eager to exchange ideas, co-create meaningful projects, and bring fresh energy into networks that value sustainability, inclusion, and youth empowerment.
