Salesianos San Juan Bosco

San Juan Bosco School is a Salesian, thriving and active school with a long and well-established reputation. We are a Catholic co-educational comprehensive school meeting the needs of children of all abilities from 3-18 years.

We have an excellent staff who work hard to meet the needs of the young people in their care. The school's 1200 students also enjoy many extra-curricular activities. The school has achieved much in sport, drama, debates, light entertainment, science and technology. We want our school to be place of empowerment, learning, and happiness for all. In fact, we have a lot of experience in Erasmus+ . Our primary section has already achieved several projects and they are currently carrying out a new one with some partners around Europe.

Puertollano in an industrial city, with 50000 inhabitants. Its capital is Ciudad Real and is just 20 minutes by car. Puertollano has excellent communications as we have really high speed trains that make us be in Madrid in just 50 minutes. Puertollano is also really closet o the south región Andalucia, and it is very fast and easy to get to some of the most important cities of Andalucia such as Córdoba, Sevilla, Jaén, Granada & Málaga.

Puertollano is in the region of Castilla La Mancha, surrounded by many important towns that inspired Miguel de Cervantes to write his most famous novel “Don Quijote de La Mancha”. Miguel de Cervantes and his novel 'Don Quixote of La Mancha' have a special place in the history of literature. Many towns and villages in Spain have links to Cervantes and his literary creations, and are great places to visit at any time of year.
