Ruralis.com is an innovative start-up aimed at developing rural areas through sustainable tourism. Our mission within the Erasmus+ framework is to contribute to building more attractive and resilient rural economies through capacity building of youth to tackle unemployment, fostering leadership and entrepreneurship spirit as well as introducing internationalisation, cultural and knowledge exchange.

As a company active in Corporate Social Responsibility, Ruralis.com is regularly involved in representing and promoting young entrepreneurs and aspiring youth to take initiatives in rural areas. We actively participate in local events and projects dedicated to young entrepreneurs in Avellino Province. We are in contact and mentoring a number of teenagers inspired to create a business. We believe that small acts of service to support young people and the local community will result in greater tangible results in the future.

During the two years of its operation, Ruralis.com has created 10 new jobs, established 70 partnerships with local associations, private enterprises, municipalities and other public entities and hosted 5,000 international tourists.

We are actively expanding partnerships and networks at the EU level too. In 2022, Ruralis.com served as Young Entrepreneurs Representative while participating in the Rural Pact Conference, The 5th European Rural Parliament as well as EIP-Agri Workshop for innovative entrepreneurs in rural areas.

Our areas of expertise are:
- Creating and promoting tailor-made tourism services for tourists visiting the area. Among others, Ruralis offers school and university tourism packages for academic groups eager to learn about the history and culture of the area. For example, during the summer 2022, in collaboration with Princeton University, Ruralis provided tourism services for the PIIRS global seminar;
- Project development and management services for rural public entities. During 2022, Ruralis assisted small village municipalities in the Province of Avellino in attracting funding of 4.5 million Euro for improvement of local tourist infrastructure as well as for sustainable development;
- Enhancing the perception of the tourism industry by showing to the local culture the advantages and positive return it can bring to the rural area;
- Building awareness of the Irpinia (Avellino Province) rural brand, strengthening visibility both online and offline;
- Capacity building and popularising leadership and entrepreneurship culture among rural youth.
The project aims at building more resilient rural areas through fostering youth leadership and entrepreneurship culture.
