Rugby Club de l’Aber – Passion, Values, and Community
Based in Plouguerneau, Brittany, the Rugby Club de l’Aber is a community-driven, volunteer-led rugby club committed to promoting the core values of rugby: respect, solidarity, and sharing.
Our Youth Rugby Academy, affiliated with the French Rugby Federation (FFR), proudly holds the official "1-star" certification — a mark of quality and commitment in training young players. All our coaches are certified with a federal coaching license and work entirely on a volunteer basis, driven by passion and dedication.
We believe rugby is more than a sport. It is a tool for education, inclusion, and personal growth. Our players, from the youngest to the oldest, learn to develop not only physical skills but also teamwork, resilience, and mutual support.
The club cooperates with neighboring teams to offer a complete development pathway: we share teams with Brest for younger age groups and with Plouzané for the U16 and U18 categories. Training sessions are held locally, including at the Petit Kerzu stadium, offering our players a welcoming and dynamic environment.
Rooted in our rural territory, the Rugby Club de l’Aber is proud to bring the spirit of rugby to life, on and off the pitch.
