Main goals of society:
- less differences between a Romani society and majority society
- bigger development of culturally indentity of members of Romani community
- bigger participation of Romanis in works and society
- bigger contribution of Romanis on cultural, in
sports discipline and other sociable region
This is why we stand up for improving the position of members of Romani society in municipality. We provide the preservation of identity and the features of Romani community, especially we protect the rights of Romani's, which include the usage of Romani language, schooling their children, the maintenance and evolution of Romani culture and the right of informing them. Our society strives for equal integration of the Romans into public life and is struggling to fight against
discrimination towards them. We encourage and organize cultural and sports activities for the Romani community and the general public. We research and produce fashion, music and other things, which originate from Romani roots and therefore we recreate the Romani culture. We organize workshops in which we teach the Romani society and others how to sew and make Romani clothes. We participate with complementary societies such as Slovenian and also foreign societies when it comes to performing common projects.
