Reload Vladicin Han

Reload objectives of:
Arts, culture, cultural policy, education, healthy lifestyles, democracy, youth policy, the economy, vulnerable groups.

1) the development of innovative, critical and experimental artistic and cultural production and cultural cooperation at the regional and international levels;
2) the impact on the formulation and implementation of cultural policy in the Republic of Serbia on
national, provincial and local level and the formulation and implementation of other
public policies related thereto;

3) encouraging creative and critical thinking skills of young people;
4) cultural awakening and meeting developmental needs of youth;
5) recognition of cultural equality and diversity and respect for creation
cultural, ethnic and religious diversity;
6) strategic thinking and constant actualization of the basic principles of an independent
organization and functioning of the independent cultural scene of the socio-political context

7) organizes alone or in community with other similar associations, educational seminars and professional meetings in order to educate the population about all aspects of socio-economic system of the country;
8) publishes books and other publications in order to inform citizens about the activities of the Association;
9) gathers the population, especially the youth with the aim of affirmation of volunteerism;
10) conduct activities aimed at strengthening the local community and the region of South-Eastern, Eastern and Southern Serbia;
11) collaborates with universities, schools and associations that have similar goals;
12) establish international cooperation in all fields of social and economic life of local, regional and national economic development;
13) Cooperate with the youth organizations of political parties, the executive authorities, public, small and medium-sized enterprises and foreign companies;
14) implement projects aimed at tourism development, sustainable development and environmental protection, energy efficiency, recycling, improving the status of OSI and other marginalized groups;
15) The active involvement of all ethnic, social and social groups in the realization of the objectives of the Association;

Reload is traditionaly held for five years in Vladicin Han. Organizers of festival are city Vladicin Han, Center for Cultural Activites, Tourism and Library, and Office for youth led by informal group of young volunteers “Reload Владичин Хан”. The goal of this event is primarily promotion of city Vladicin Han, stimulating young people and their active participation in the preparation and implementation of the very festival and providing opportunity for young people in Vladicin Han to experience festival atmosphere.
By creating positive atmosphere during festival days significant contribution is given to the formation of a different system values , especially among young people, promoting music and sporting culture. and awareness of conservation and regulation of living space in Vladicin Han. At the same time it emphasizes the sense of community and the improvement of human relations in the local community. Reload exists for five years and we highly believe that this year is backbone for future. To us organizers plan is to raise the festival to a higher level, and to bring young bands from all over the Balkans (Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia, Blugaria, Greece). We plan to include an educational program that will enable young people ideas for active leisure time and space to express themselves creatively. There will be workshops during festival of graffiti, dj-ing, socially engaged theater, ecology and promotion of volunteerism as a starter social change and base of the whole festival.
Visual identity of festival is on one side strict (unlike similar events that change the visual language radically form year to year) and yet so flexible, it allows anyone to edit an internal element of Reload sign and thus express himself or send an important message to Serbia. An important element is the use of the Cyrillic alphabet as the primary wich is a real rarity in such urban events in Serbia.
The festival aims to grow through music and educational programs, engage young people through volunteering and allow room for active participation, destroys prejudice by achieving cooperation at the regional and international level and still keeps the Serbian cultural heritage.
