Qendra "Tirana Art" (Tirana Art Center)

Qendra “Tirana Art” was established in February 2015, when a group of professional artists founded it as a non-political, non-government and non-profit organization. Tirana Art through art and culture is trying to alleviate the social problems, protects human rights, protects the copyright, opens different exhibitions, shares experience in art and culture and promotes young artists.
Our mission is to provide education through art and culture to contribute for the alleviation of social problems.
Integrity, enthusiasm and devotion are the core principles that lead us in our daily work to create opportunities and to give our contribute in community and in civil society.
Through our continuous activities and projects we aim to promote youth policy, human rights, diversity, volunteering, European citizenship and democratic values by using not only non-formal education but also Art as a vital tool in creating more inclusive and culturally diverse societies. The objective is to educate, advocate social issues and find creative ways to address problems, to give sensitizing messages and to provide solutions by using artistic expressions.
The staff and the volunteers of Tirana Art have different backgrounds and experiences. Each one of the members and volunteers is actively involved in projects and activities that we plan and organize. Being actively engaged in youth work issues , participating in trainings, youth exchanges and other collaborations in national and international projects help us to gain new skills, tools, practices and knowledge in project management and implementation.
