Provincial Directorate of Ankara National Education (ADNE)

Provincial Directorate of Ankara National Education (ADNE) is responsible for the planning, coordination and management of all kinds of educational and training activities from pre-primary schools to high schools including all kinds of schools from K12 to adult education in Ankara.
We are the administrative body with the management of all schools and educational institutions at different levels. The number of schools in Ankara is 4.434 and 77.170 teachers are on duty to deal with 1.090.845 students.
ADNE has been accredited in the fields of School Education, Vocational Education and Adult Education.
ADNE has Erasmus+ Youth Project applications. A cooperation protocol has been signed with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In addition to improve the educational, social, cultural, volunteering and sports activities of our high school students, fighting addiction, strengthening their perceptions of social responsibility and volunteering, as well as contributing to the personal capacity development of the young people with the education they receive during secondary education.
As a Eurodesk Contact point We aim ;
• To provide more opportunities for the learning mobility of young people, youth workers and youth leaders, to inform them about the work,
• To encourage and contribute to the development of young people's participation in social life, social inclusion, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and solidarity,
• To increase the quality of youth work,
• To support the recognition of non-formal and informal learning, informal learning,
• To strengthen the role of youth workers and institutions/organizations as support structures for young people in order to complete the international dimension of youth activities with the support of the institutions and organizations we cooperate with.

ADNE has successfully completed more than 20 Erasmus+ projects on Inclusive and Intercultural Education, Democratic Culture, Education for SEN, Refugees, ICT, Interactive Teaching Methods in different subjects, Multilingualism, Gamification, Bullying, Social Entreprenuarship, Digital Skills, Parents Involvement in the areas of school education, vocational education, adult education and youth.
