Prometheus

The purpose of the association is to promote democratic and equity values trough knowledge and understanding of how new technologies affect civic and social cohesion, with a particular focus on their impact in online environments and on individuals and communities.

Prometheus works to strengthen awareness of how digital platforms, social media communication dynamics and emerging technologies influence attitudes, political participation and relationships in our society. It aims to support inclusive and mature communities to counteract polarization, misinformation and exclusionary or anti-democratic speeches through constructive and knowledge-based approaches.

To achieve its goal, the association develops and implements educational activities, research-based projects and collaborative efforts at local, national and international levels.

The Prometheus team also incorporates creative methods and formats as a means to engage diverse audiences, encourage participation and support innovative approaches to democratic and social challenges.
