PROLIZ Youth Group

Proliz Youth Group was founded in 2007 to provide cost-free trainings and publish informal articles of young amateur blog authors on human rights, democracy, active citizenship, and project discipline to the university students in Turkey.

Proliz comes from the words “project” and “analysis” and was found by its young engineer members. The starting point was the university taxes (compulsory levy) taken from university students. Group is constituted by only university students or graduates.

Attending YIA Program was not the main aim during foundation so EU Project participation started in 2009. Group uses almost all means of social media such as facebook, u-tube, and e-mail listing to inform its online members about its activities. Members attended a youth congress in Istanbul, YIA 3.2 and 4.3 Training courses in Amsterdam, A 1.3 Democracy project in Portugal, and an open fora in Brussels. Weekend trainings are made to teach “Preparation of CV and Motivation Letter for EVS Program.

Proliz Youth Group is technically and financially strong to implement such projects and can disseminate project results to nearly 5.000 Turkish youngsters and min 100 organizations from public sector in Europe, Africa, and neighborhood countries.
