Project xx1

Project xx1 is an organization that has been dedicated since 2017 to educational projects aimed at young people and adults involved in youth work, both in formal and non-formal settings. Its national and international experiences are focused on exchange, education, and training through creative and artistic tools. The main objective of Project xx1 is to plan, lead, and supervise educational projects aimed at children, young people, and adults. Each project also aims to develop and enhance psychological and physical well-being.

The methodologies used by Project xx1 are multidisciplinary and fall within the realm of non-formal education and performing arts, also thanks to the use of new technologies. Project xx1’s activities are conducted under the principles of equality, inclusion, sustainability, innovation, intercultural contact, free expression, and the fight against discrimination.

Project xx1 primarily works with children, adolescents, young people, and youth workers. Most participants are in the 18-26 age range and share an interest in artistic and creative methodologies. Special attention is given to young people with fewer opportunities due to socio-economic, cultural, linguistic, or disability-related issues; it is precisely these categories of participants who benefit the most from Project xx1's initiatives. Another important target group includes students and their teachers, at the primary, secondary, and university levels, involved in initiatives focused on integrating formal and non-formal education through artistic mediation.

Among its members are trainers, project managers, and youth workers specializing in performing arts. The organization is divided into four sections: A. Education, B. Training, C. International, and D. Artistic Productions.

Erasmus+ activities are primarily managed by two board members and supported by young volunteers:

Riccardo Brunetti
President, responsible for research in performance and digital arts. He has been an international trainer since 2005 for the Youth in Action and Erasmus+ programs (Salto-Youth), specializing in theater and social theater. He has participated as a trainer in more than 50 projects worldwide.

Anna Maria Avella
Head of the Training Area, Administration, and Youth Worker. A graduate of the Master's program in Theater in Social Contexts and Dramatherapy, she works as a youth worker in various social settings (schools, SPRAR centers, senior centers, associations) using artistic and performative tools. She collaborates with various organizations, where she has developed social, cultural, and artistic projects from their conception to implementation. She recently completed the annual "Training of Trainers for European Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps Projects 23/24" organized by SALTO_Training&Cooperation.
