ProAtlântico - Associação Juvenil

ProAtlântico is a nonprofit youth association, founded in 2001 and it carries out projects with children, youngsters and disabled people.
In 2003 we started to work in Youth Programme and we took part in more than 80 youth exchanges.
We also took part in several training courses and seminars all around Europe. Since 2006 we are sending, hosting and coordinating organisation in EVS and hosted/sent more than 250 volunteers.
ProAtlântico also works as hosting organziation with Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci projects.
Today, ProAtlântico has more than 9000 members all over Portugal and gives special attention to needed people and to those with fewer opportunities, aiming to give them the chance to establish contact with other cultures, in order to help them to find ways to deal with their own problems and to break the existing prejudices. young people to enrich themselves and learn more about the other’s culture.
