Pro Loco L'Araba Fenicia

Pro Loco L’Araba Fenicia was created in 2005 in Sambuca di Sicilia by a group of young people with the strong deside to do something for own comunity and territory.
Its main aims are: tourist development, promotion of cultural events, partecipation of people with few opportunities, formal and informal education.
Activities already carried out or in progress are: organitation of meetings, gastronomic and traditional festivals, intercultural exchanges, volontary work, sportive, creative and musical activities, promotion of the theatre, vision of movies.
The target public involved in our activities is represented by students of the secondary school and the University, adult citizens belonging to different social reality, people with few opportunities in general, etc. We can also count on an important participation of volunteers. Pro Loco collaborate with Municipality of Sambuca and many associations of the area. At the moment it made of 55 menbers.
Its office is point of meeting for many young people.
Pro Loco is very interested in professional exchanges in all the fields of adult education, especially in formal and informal training for disabled and people with few opportunities, in languages teaching/learning and new networks.
