PRO CIVICA OLTENIA

Pro Civica Association implements especially youth projects, which aim to avoid civic passivism among young people and turning them into leaders of their community. The projects are especially democracy projects, during which the participants can gain specific skills in the field of human rights, participative democracy, active citizenship, EU institutions, EU policies and community law
Our association volunteers are generally young people aged between 16 and 28 years old, coming from rural communities around Craiova and ethnic minorities (especially Roma youth). We have implemented a number of projects which involved youngsters with physical and mental disabilities, who tried to draw attention of the local authorities regarding the special needs of disabled people.
