Pričotvorci (StoryCrafters)

Pričotvorci (StoryCrafters) is a youth-oriented NGO based in Kotor, Montenegro. We design and deliver interactive reading-drama workshops for children aged 4–10, combining storytelling, drama pedagogy and Reading & Writing for Critical Thinking (RWCT) approaches. Our work supports oracy (speaking & listening), social-emotional learning (SEL), creativity and critical thinking through playful, structured sessions.
What we do
Weekly workshop cycles for two age groups (4–7 and 7–10) in community/cultural spaces and in cooperation with local institutions (libraries, cultural centres, museums, schools).
Programmes built around contemporary children’s books and local cultural heritage (e.g., legends from the Bay of Kotor), adapted into participatory formats: role play, frozen images/tableaux, hot seating, forum theatre, “choose your path” scenes, simple shadow theatre and creative artefacts.
Community events that promote reading culture and family engagement (interactive readings, mini-performances, public sessions).
Our strengths
Strong facilitation and methodology: drama-in-education + RWCT, with clear learning goals and child-friendly reflection.
Flexible formats: standalone workshops, multi-session cycles, public events, and bilingual delivery (Montenegrin/Serbian and English) depending on the project.
Documentation mindset: we like turning processes into shareable outputs (toolkits, session plans, story maps, simple video documentation).
What partnerships we are looking for (Erasmus+ / international)
We are interested in partnering on projects focused on literacy and reading culture, oracy, SEL, creative learning, intercultural exchange, inclusion through arts (non-clinical), teacher/youth worker training, and heritage-based storytelling. We can contribute as a host or sending organisation for mobilities, as well as a content partner for methods and workshop design.
Target groups
Children 4–10; educators/youth workers/parents through training and community events (depending on the project).
We are ready to contribute
Facilitation, workshop design, piloting activities, developing a toolkit, hosting local sessions in Montenegro, and dissemination through our community networks.
We are open to KA1 mobility, KA2 partnerships and small-scale cooperation projects.
