Why?
We are the ones who will live with the consequences of current political decisions. Therefore, we created Polis as a platform for young people to discuss their ideas on EU and foreign policy and to ensure that they are heard by policymakers.

What?
We create an environment that encourages the innovative ideas and talents of young experts and provides an inclusive platform where their opinions about policy decisions are heard. To do this, we organise participatory events and write discussion-based analyses. We publish policy papers, briefs, and blog posts, and we are often invited to join panels or discussions as experts. This is how we present our ideas directly to decision-makers, the media, and the public as a whole.

Who?
Polis180 was founded in June 2015 by a group of young political entrepreneurs with diverse ideological backgrounds and currently has over 350 members.

How?
The heart of Polis180 is the voluntary engagement of its members. The executive board is responsible for managing strategic as well as day-to-day issues. For larger projects we also employ project managers, who engage volunteers in their project activities. Our activities are funded through private and public grants, membership fees, and collaborations with nonprofits and private donors. Our work is based on the following principles:
