Petrus Communications

Petrus is a multi-award-winning international design company that specialises in connecting employers with youth and the global education community. Launched in 2005, Petrus now comprises a team of 15 research, communication, education and digital experts creating and implementing projects world-wide. Petrus designs and delivers impactful learning experiences and creative campaigns. We bring together companies, youth and universities worldwide for skills development, innovation, brand communications, recruitment, and community engagement. Our mission is to enable young people worldwide to achieve their potential.

Petrus’ flagship programmes include the Airbus Fly Your Ideas competition (20K participants worldwide/ UNESCO Partnership), the Airbus GEDC Diversity Award (UNESCO Patronage) and the Airbus Quantum Computing Challenge - a unique innovation competition engaging 1000 faculty, researchers and start-ups worldwide in an online community and emerging technology challenge.

We developed the Total Energy Summer School with 85 scholarships for a summer programme designed by Petrus and animated by 150 Total experts and international faculty partners. Petrus also launched the Global Engineering Deans Council and the European Society for Engineering Education Global Virtual Internship Program in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as a series of learning expeditions (in person in 2018 and 2019 and online in 2020 and 2021), offering young people from Europe and worldwide the chance to broaden their skills and support their communities.
