Participa Joven CR

Association Participa Joven CR was founded in 2012.

Our main objective is the promotion of youth participation as a tool for personal, social and civic development. We are members of the Youth Council of Ciudad Real (Consejoven Ciudad Real), which is a network of around 60 local youth NGOs that supports young people to create their own youth associations as a form of social entrepreneurship and civic engagement.

We work in the field of non formal education involving young people in the development of their own ideas and turning them into actions.

We promote Erasmus+/ESC programs and European values such as solidarity, tolerance, dialogue between cultures among many others.

We also support sustainability and environmentally-friendly behavior and try to promote good practices among the local youth.

Experience:
Various local workshops, clubs and other youth activities trying to engage youth in long-term participation. Experience with Erasmus+ training courses, contact making seminars, youth exchanges and organising local training courses on Erasmus+/ESC in collaboration with the regional youth authorities (Spanish NA).

Through our umbrella organisation Consejoven Ciudad Real we have taken part in KA2 and KA3 projects related to empowering youth and creating new youth policies.
