Pan-Hellenic Federation of Cultural Cretan Societies

The Pan-Hellenic Federation of Cultural Cretan Societies was founded in 1986 aiming at uniting all Cretan cultural unions outside Crete. Federation members can only become primary clubs that reach today 247 from all over Greece.
The aims of the Federation is to preserve the ancestral cultural heritage and democratic traditions of the Cretan people and to highlight the customs of Crete, history, music, songs, dances, traditional costumes, Cretan diet, literature, folklore, Folk medicine, traditional architecture, Cretan nature, flora and fauna and Cretan landscape.
Cretan unions now offer great cultural services throughout the country, highlighting Cretan culture.
