Paese dell'Acqua

"Paese dell'Acqua" was set-up in the village of Sassinoro following a ten-year experience in organizing events related to water management issues.
Starting in 2007 as a series of informal meetings of citizens, decision-makers, and civil society organizations, "Paese dell'Acqua" grew in few years by establishing a series of important partnerships and creating an international network aimed at promoting the recognition of the human right to water and sanitation. For this reason, in december 2015 we decided to give birth to the association "Paese dell'Acqua". In 2016, the association became member of the international network "Sanitation and Water for All" , under the supervision of the UNICEF. "Paese dell'Acqua" is also active in the awareness rising process about water-related issues like scarcity and pollution.
