Outward Bound Croatia
Outward Bound Croatia is a non-governmental organization providing courses of experiential education through adventure in nature.
Our mission is to encourage people to discover and develop their potential and to create a better world for themselves and others through challenging experiences in unfamiliar settings. It is all about the adventure, dealing with the unknown, meeting the challenges, stretching beyond the limits and developing courage, resilience, persistence, responsibility, adaptability, integrity, compassion, service to community, and the ability to work well with others – life lasting qualities.
Safety of both participants and instructors is the top priority of Outward Bound Croatia during preparation and conducting a course. Educational activities are held with the strictest safety procedures, developed with the expertise from OB systems around the world, to ensure maximal possible physical, emotional and social safety.
Past projects
Inside out
A healthy outside comes from the inside, and a healthy inside comes from outdoors. The main theme: education through sport and outdoor activities.
Outward Bound Water Training of trainers
The main goal of the training course is to build capacities of partner organizations, by educating and training their youth workers.
Reach out for the future
Aim of the exchange is to inspire young people from different cultural backgrounds to be more proactive while on same time to inspire healthy behaviours.
Protect and Act
Young people learned about the nature protection in Europe, European protected areas, importance of natural resources in the urban areas of Europe.
Training with Tought
The aim is to join 5 of the European youth organizations in the effort to build capacity of their trainers through exchange of knowledge and methodology.
Empowering youth for better future
The main objective of the training is to share different practices of work with disadvantaged youth, youth without proper parental care ,between the partners.
Balkan Youth Exchange
The main aim of this youth exchange is to promote dialogue among youth with different religions and to prepare youth leaders to deal with religious issues.
Inform and be informed
Encourage utilization of EU funding, active citizenship, inter-cultural dialogue and social inclusion of youth from rural areas.
Live healthy, be wealthy!
The objectives of this youth exchange are to raise awareness about the impacts of having a healthy lifestyle.
Colors of Europe
The main objective is to include youth with fewer opportunities in Erasmus + Programme through activities of arts and sports.
Protect to prevent
The main goal of the project is to provide participants to lead a healthy life and raising awareness about the importance of responsible sexual behaviour.
Hear our voice, gender equality is the right choice!
The aim of the project is to empower young people to realise the importance of raising awareness on the need for equal rights, for men and women.
Get employed
The main goal of the project is to enrich the participants with a highly valuable experience for their future steps in getting a job.
