Otra Cosa Network, an English Charity Reg. 1133680. We can to offer youth placements the possibility to do their internship, professional practise or simply voluntary work with us. We work with 25 different partner organisations.
Otra Cosa is an affordable, socially responsible, not for profit volunteer organisation based in Northern Peru. We recruit volunteers students from the U.K., continental Europe, North America and around the world to come and work on a variety of different socially responsible volunteer projects here in Peru. There are many projects to choose from, including working in the office to learn more bout international development, teaching English, working with children, promoting environmental awareness and a variety of other socially responsible projects. Our mission is to offer volunteers an affordable, satisfying and rewarding personal development experience while providing our partner volunteer organizations with carefully selected, well motivated volunteers.
We are able to provide volunteer work placements, family home stay or volunteer house accommodation, Spanish lessons as well as support for volunteers from arrival to departure including induction meetings and weekly volunteer lunches. We could develop specific programmes incorporating a combination of volunteering, studying and language learning to meet the needs of your students.
