OSADA.EARTH - Center for Regenerative Living

Osada Mozliwosci Association was founded in 2021 by individuals from the NGO, academic, activist and environmental movements. We aim to realise a vision of a world where people experience deep community with each other and creative, sustainable coexistence with nature in the context of deep adaptation to environmental and social crises. Our mission is to deeply explore and radically transform lifestyles on the way to achieving a regenerative culture. Our main project is an intentional community OSADA.EARTH - Center for Regenerative Living, which we create on a 11-hectare farm we purchased as Association in Prosinko (West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland). At OSADA.EARTH we develop and promote agricultural practices that increase biodiversity, ecosystem regeneration, self-sufficiency and reduce the ecological footprint. We draw on evolutionary human techniques (such as sociocracy, regenerative approaches to community and organisation formation, Community Building tools, Work that Reconnects) and natural techniques (ecosystem regeneration, agroforestry, permaculture, natural building). We practise and explore three interrelated aspects of regenerative living: individual development, community deepening and meaningful contribution to the ecosystem. In our team we have experienced facilitators working with youth, youth workers and groups. As an organisation we cooperate with other international organisations and belong to networks such as the Global Ecovillage Network. In the area of youth work, we focus on empowering young people to become more involved in the creation of culture and communities and to choose a more environmentally conscious lifestyle. The constructive and holistic approach to one's place in the world that we promote in our activities immeasurably supports young people by giving them, not only the opportunity for other ways of thinking and tools for action, but, perhaps most importantly, hope and a social support network.
