OpenCom i.s.s.c.

"OpenCom" is a not for profit association of social promotion, born in 2011 in Arezzo, near Florence (Tuscany). It aims to promote and increase knowledge and conscious use of "Communication" as an inclusive tool that supports civic participation, quality of choices and social dialogue between generations. It implements European projects and services that public and private entities, citizens, associations, enterprises put in place to reach their goals and objectives (administrative, social, ethical, environmental, educational, artistic-­‐cultural, economic) and increase stakeholders’ involvement.
Some objective of the association are:
- to support, promote, organize and manage means of communication and publishing activities,
including books, magazines, periodicals, unique pamphlets, multimedia publications, video and photographic productions (in accordance with the law on publishing);
-­ study and develop specific communication projects in the field of digital technologies and web (web site, web site portals, web design, web developer, web platforms, web applications, mobile apps and social networks, web marketing, motion designer, motion graphic, 3D mapping, Vj, setb, interactive system, touch scream systems, proximity marketing system, augmented reality) and evolving with new technologies;
-­study and develop specific communication projects the field of Video and Photographic communication (video productions and photo productions);
-­promote, organize and eventually manage training courses to facilitate and assist in the development of the "Communication" both in Italy and abroad, as well as provide training courses aimed at citizen and promoted by public entities, trade associations and others, or to start to work and/or retraining of workers;
-­Establish and maintain relations of constant collaboration with: public administrations and related companies, agencies and public and private institutions, association, trade associations, chambers of commerce, universities,
private companies.
The association operates locally, nationally and at
European level, in order to support the use of
"Communication" as a strategic instrument for building a society of social inclusion, active participation and subsidiarity, being active in social communication, education and training, international cooperation with neighbor countries.
Internationally, the Association is active in social communication, training,
international cooperation with neighbor countries (Albania, Montenegro).
