This institution acts in the promotion of education with quality and development of an innovative pedagogy, fostering in children the desire to know more and better using new technologies to achieve their goals, for a better and more complete education.

Nowadays, it's not always easy to families ensure the availability needed to take care, educate and teach their children. It can happens not only because of time, but also because of the complexity of the scholar program contents. All of these gaps contribute for one of the main issues that can take to school failure or poor performance.

Olhar Poente, more recently, promoted a space to study support. Since primary education until the year that is nowadays required. All of these with payments that are in line with household's yields, giving this way opportunity to all the families, the poorest included. For this we have collaboration protocols with the Azorean government. The aim is also to promote equality of the available resources in the community to all the individuals.

Besides the regular support, we adapt our performance to the needs of each one and we also count on the support of our partners in terms of Psychology and Speech Therapy, in the sense that whenever it is necessary to make the appropriate referral for another type of intervention (and soon pedopsyquiathry too).

In addition to all this part of child and youth education, Olhar Poente's objective is also intended that lifelong learning is part of our development pillars, creating a response in terms of continuing education for adults, promoting entrepreneurship and new jobs opportunities.
