Oikos APS

Oikos is a social promotion association created to offer opportunities to young people in rural areas such as Cilento, helping them enhance local tourism, landscape, and cultural resources. The association promotes a strong sense of community belonging and supports young people in becoming active, aware, and engaged citizens, emphasizing youth agency and active citizenship.
Oikos also works on strengthening resilience in rural areas through the creation of youth incubators, co-working spaces, and initiatives that bring young people together for days immersed in nature and green environments.
Deeply committed to safeguarding both natural and cultural heritage, Oikos is open to building international connections aimed at exchanging good practices for the protection and revitalization of rural territories. Special attention is given to intangible heritage, local traditions, and community knowledge.
Above all, Oikos is dedicated to empowering young people in a comprehensive and meaningful way—supporting them as key drivers of regeneration, innovation, and sustainable development in rural and marginal areas.
