Oficina Jove de la Terra Alta

Oficina Jove de la Terra Alta (Youth Office of Terra Alta region) is a public body who works to achieve the objectives of young people in a rural area.

We offer information and counseling in all areas related to the process of emancipation: help and resources to find work, educative orientation, prevent risky behaviors and answer questions on health. Our professionals know the territory and establish relationships with agents that provide services and resources. On this way, Oficina Jove becomes a benchmark to address the concerns and needs of young people.

On the other hand, we work to stimulate young people to participate in local and regional projects, supporting non-profit organizations to develop their projects. We are proud to hold a annual meeting with these organizations because it answered our intention to boost the youth people of the region.

We also collaborate with two high schools that exist in our region. With them we fight against risky behaviors and to follow healthy parameters.

About activities we do:
- Improve employability and entrepreneurship.
- Improve job skills.
- Speaking and workshops about youth issues.
- Educative orientation.
- Sex and drugs prevention.
- LGTBI issues.
- Development of a catalog of activities aimed at young people.
- Annual meeting with cultural organizations in the region.
