Office for Initiatives Promotion

The private educational institution "Office for Promotion of Initiatives" is a non-profit organization set up to promote the improvement of the quality of life, the development of humanitarian and educational values through the support and promotion of citizens' initiatives in the field of education, culture and the social initiatives. It was founded in August 2012.
We appreciate school and university education, but we are convinced that informal education is vital for stable self-improvement. Our way to promote enthusiastic youth is organization of trainings, volunteer camps, conferences and international exchanges. OIP has involved approx. 1240 people into its activities that were co-financed from Youth in Action and Erasmus+ Programs through its partners in the European Union or were self-financed.
OIP has hosted 50 volunteers for long-term and short-term projects from the UK, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Spain, and France and has sent 23 volunteers to Romania, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Germany, and Spain.
OIP participates actively in KA1 and KA2 youth mobility projects within different topics aimed at enhancing empowerment of youth, youth policy, supporting critical thinking and information literacy, intercultural dialogue.
OIP is implementing regional trainings for the members of Youth Council all over Belarus. OIP also trains and support a network of multipliers among active youth who implement their own trainings and campaigns all over Belarus.
OIP has implemented 5 conferences on Model United Nations among school students. You can see the proofs under the brand MINTMUN (Minsk International MUN) http://mintmun.org The conferences gathered participants from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Sri-Lanka.
Target group of 2 age levels: 13-18 and 18-30.
Since July 2017 OIP implements the duties of Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps Info centre in Belarus that was established by SALTO EECA in 7 regions of Eastern partnership countries and Russia. During work of the Information Centre, 470 people (students, working youth, representatives of public organizations) from Minsk and seven other regional cities of Belarus took part in educational activities and received counselling.
Over the course of its existence, OIP has made many other initiatives real for more than 600 people with various experience and education. Training of mentors, trainings on personal PR «I Me Mine», internships and practice in OIP programs, expert consultations for non-profit organizations and initiatives, PR-laboratory for non-profit organizations - this is not a complete list of opportunities that were realized thanks to the Office for Initiatives Promotion. Not only young people, but also teachers, non-formal education trainers, university lecturers, youth and social workers and everyone interested in the development and maintenance of educational initiatives will find detailed advice and support at the OIP.
