OBA NATURE AND EDUCATION

Oba nature and education association was founded in Antalya, Turkey on a 3500 m2 orange and pomegranade field. The starting point of the association is Oba Pedagogy. Oba pedagogy advocates that children's education should be done in natural environments and in a way that includes the daily life routines of individuals, and also fed by culture. The founding purpose of the Oba association is to support the restoration of the broken ties with nature through the participation of individuals who have been away from nature and culture in recent years in educational activities within the scope of nature-based learning approach. The association organizes activities on basic topics such as forest school, forest pedagogy, waldorf pedagogy, outdoor learning, and Nature Based Learning. It organizes nature activities, art workshops, international projects, youth exchanges, meetings, camping and nature activities with children, young people and adults. Teacher trainings and workshops are also organized.
