NGO "Youth for City - City for Youth"

YCCY was established in year 2013. In our organization there are together active youngsters and adults from different youth organizations with multifarious experiences.

Our main aims are: to work for the interests of youth of Cesis district, to promote youth initiatives, involve youth in decision making, to promote youth cooperation, experience exchange in state, Europe and World level, to advocate interests of youth, to work in fields that affects youth interests: nature protection, health, participation, social inclusion, youth employment etc., to create an environment where youth can develop their skills and knowledge, develop personality and to organize educational and self-promoting events.

We have already developed many projects in the area of youth exchanges and democracy projects.
We have realized youth initiative project in Spain about photography.
We have had a project in Palestine about culture and religion.
We had a youth exchange project in Georgia about culture.
We have participated in a youth exchange in Georgia called “Healthy, Wealthy, Eco-friendly”.
We have participated in a democracy project which we formed together with partners from Lithuania.
We have realized a youth initiative project about the history of Latvian flag in the area of Cesis city - "Autīne - Cēsis - Latvija - 900".
And many more projects which we have realized or have been partners.
