We-Mean is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2022 in Riga, Latvia, with a simple but powerful idea: helping young people grow, learn, and believe in their own potential. We work with youth and adults through educational projects, exchanges, training activities, and community initiatives that respond to real-life needs and challenges.
We believe meaningful learning happens when people are actively involved. Our projects are designed not just to teach, but to inspire — creating spaces where participants feel safe to explore new ideas, test their skills, and grow as individuals. We place strong emphasis on active participation: we want people to be co-creators, not passive followers.
What we aim to do:
create a safe, friendly, and creative environment for young people and adult learners
support children and young people as they grow into confident and responsible adults
involve parents and families in the development and well-being of young people
expand learning opportunities through social, emotional, and educational support
engage young people in sports, leisure, and non-formal activities that build teamwork, resilience, and character
prepare young people for leadership, further education, and working life by turning theory into practice
offer inclusive opportunities for children and young people at risk through EU-funded and community-based programmes
We work with motivated educators, youth workers, and international partners who share our values and passion for youth development, promoting intercultural dialogue and learning beyond borders through Erasmus+ and other EU-supported programmes.
YCREATE trains youth workers to teach prompt engineering and AI literacy, building young people's critical thinking, creativity, and digital resilience.
