As an informal group of university students, our project explores the manipulative impact of advertising on young people. Beyond selling products, modern advertisements often impose specific lifestyles, ideals, and decision-making patterns. We focus on analyzing how information is selectively highlighted or concealed in marketing, examining whether youth purchase the physical product itself or the promised identity and status. Through international cooperation, we aim to enhance critical media literacy, empower youth to recognize psychological manipulation in media, and promote conscious consumer choices. If this topic resonates with your work and you work with young people aged 13 to 30, please get in touch. We are looking for partner organisations or informal groups of young people for a KA152 Youth Exchange to explore advertising manipulation together. We welcome everyone passionate about this issue to join our network and collaborate
