NetInEurope - Social Promotion Association for the Development of European Programmes

NetInEurope is a Social Promotion Association for the Development of European Programmes head-quartered in Cosenza, southern Italy, founded in 2016. It is a permanent centre of community life, voluntary and democracy whose each activity is an expression of participation, solidarity and pluralism.

The Association, which is a non-profit organization, is founded to operate in the European territory proposing to raise public awareness about the culture, values and various kind of U.E. problems (such as social, cultural, political, historical).

It aims to promote the active participation of citizens in civil society, encouraging social change, development and improvement of the reality in which we live.

Belong to NetInEurope associations, institutions, companies and free citizens who want to evaluate and propose solutions to the new challenges of the European Union.

It bets on young people promoting empowerment, community development and enhance them participation in civil society so it allows them to believe in themselves, to develop own key competences and to realize their interests, create, build.

The association operates much with mobility because it firmly believes that stay in another European country is fundamental to form a sense of belonging to Europe, improve the social and occupational integration and guarantee competitiveness of European economy.

Although newly established, its members have worked for over six years as an informal group so they could acquire a lot of experience in the European planning and mobility. For this reason, the key staff is very experienced in the Erasmus Plus Programme and operates in the field with excellent results.

The association is already connected and cooperates with many European and non-European partners and it is wide open in establishing agreements and alliances with organizations with which it shares the same values and objectives.

The Association provides support and accompaniment concerning: local, trans-regional and European cooperation; economic and cultural animation and internationalization of the territories.

It works other on all matters and objectives of the EU, supporting the natural and legal persons in designing a strategy of openness towards Europe.

OBJECTIVES:
a) To improve the European citizenship, promote a sense of belonging to the EU and its culture, increasing the direct or indirect participation in development programs and heighten the effectiveness of EU policies;
b) To approach all layers of civil society to Europe, by providing advice and training in order to develop skills and solutions, acquiring tools and use of services required to access the labour market and the opportunities made available by the EU;
c) To facilitate and support synergies between the various economic sectors by removing obstacles, attracting new actors from the world of work and civil society by stimulating new forms of cooperation;
d) To promote forms of exchange, information and professional training among various social, cultural and economic stakeholders, beginning a virtuous circle;
e) To facilitate access to the labour market through effective and structured forms of information and guidance, personalized and flexible learning pathways, mobility and work experience in companies in Italy and abroad, support and assistance self-employment for the development of business ideas;
f) To build innovative contexts in which opportunities to reinvent the work and to experiment with new implementation methods for individuals, institutions and corporate that may arise;
g) To build joint capacity and stimulate innovation (including social, cultural and technological innovation), and entrepreneurship, the ability to respond to change, encouraging sustainable development and the discovery of unexpressed potential of communities and territories;
h) To foster economic development as prerequisite to the fight against crime in all its forms and so encourage a culture of legality;
i) To put together opportunities for innovation and good practices, facilitate the exchange of experiences with people, organizations, enterprises and institutions offering such proposals translated into solutions that improve the quality of life and work in Europe;
j) To facilitate and support processes in order to establish a network with different competences and experiences and promote the development of ideas, projects and working groups;
k) Encourage local communities to develop integrated approaches of bottom-up development;
l) To give impulse to activities related to the principles of solidarity, maturation of a critical conscience, expression and protection of the human dignity through the involvement of the social and cultural world;
m) To promote the fruitful use of free time through cultural and recreational and leisure activities, in order to contribute to a civic and social improvement of European citizens, especially those living in disadvantaged areas;
n) To encourage dialogue between different cultures within the European and international space, stimulating integration and mobility between the social and economic actors, as well as peace education.
