NECI ITALIA is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, youth organization and its activities are based on Italian legislation. It is one of the branches of the parent organization based in Cyprus.
Objectives:
The objectives of the organization are the following:
- To work in the field of education, youth, inclusion, human rights, through creativity, identity, art, ecology, training, seminars, youth exchange and events.
- Fight racism and marginalization,
- disseminate the themes related to European citizenship and identity,
- to spread the values of peace and solidarity among peoples,
- to educate to the European citizenship through mobility of adults and young people,
- to promote the mobility of youth and adults at the European level to foster educational and cultural awareness,
- to provide information, educate and guide European citizens through publications, seminars, workshops, internships training courses, cultural exchanges, case studies, volunteer work, projects, action-research, etc.
- Provide and implement practices for social aid, for people with special needs, the disabled, the socially excluded and the elderly.
- Contribute to the improvement of the European society for lifelong education, with cultural exchanges, professional training and cooperation and partnership initiatives,
Cooperate with public institutions, non-governmental organizations and local authorities for the realization of projects and actions that will be useful and effective for cultural improvement that aims to eliminate social exclusion
Improve relations and contacts between members and European and international organizations
- To provide the opportunity for the members of the Association to live and participate in everything to which they are entitled as European citizens.
